Leaving the kids at home during the holiday

A Mom was telling me yesterday how difficult it was being in school and raising children at the same time. Especially leaving them during the holidays. I agree it is hard. But this is all being done to make the future better. These Moms are going to school to get an education to start a career that will make life easier and better for herself and her family. The sacrifices this Mom makes today to make life better later is so worth it. The self respect she will have gained, the role model she will be for the kids... and so much more... makes it so worth the effort. I commend these parents for making a change in their lives by getting an education. I know it is difficult, I too have been in their shoes. Hold on to those dreams and hopes. I have never met anyone who was sorry they got an education but I have met many who were very sorry they didn't.
