New Students
Where I work new students start on the first Tuesday of each month. Some months I get only 2 or 3 new students and other months I have gotten as many as 12. I am always pleasantly surprised with my new students. Last month I only got 2 but they are both delightful and eager to learn. Students come from all different walks of life it seems. Some are really young. There is one right now who is 17 and full of that energy that only a teenager can have. Another student in my class is in her 40's with kids nearly grown. Some students have tiny babies at home and this one has no kids but instead a tiny adorable little dog that is just precious. They come together to learn this trade that they love and hope to make their future in. I get such pleasure watching them as they master their new skills. Watching them grow more confident each day in their abilities and their value. Several of my students are almost ready to test out and move on to the next classroom. As much as I will miss this particular group I know that no one can graduate from the Junior Classroom. I have some really great students come through my room, I am very lucky to get to spend my days with them.
