We want to give a good impression to our customers and part of that is keeping our hands and nails looking their best at all times. Here are a few tips to help keep those nails looking good even when time is in short supply.
Need to do those nails quickly and with great results? The fastest way to remove nail polish is to completely soak a cotton ball with remover and press it on the nail before wiping. Let the remover soak down into the polish and then pull towards the free edge. The color will dissolve in one shot.
Of course you could completely forget the the polish and just file and buff. Use a nail buffer to shine your nails. Then you don't need to worry about how long the polish will last cause there isn't any! And buffed nails are always nice looking.
Oh No! The polish is slightly chipped but you don't have time for a complete color change? But you still want gorgeous color of course. You can cover chipped polish with a darker shade. Just paint a strip of contrasting color slanting down the side of your nail. Don't do all of the nails just a few will do. And the cover up will be your secret.

Thanks for your comment! I hope the Aspirin scrub works as well for you as it did for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you started this blog as it's always nice to read the perspective of someone who is in the beauty industry.
I would love to pick your brain about various aspects of the beauty industry--would it be too personal to ask what state and/or city you work in?
Thanks again!
I live /work in the Downriver area of Michigan. Currently teaching in the adult junior classroom. Please feel free to ask away. I will try my best to answer.
