Resume

Time to think about getting a job. Do you have a resume ready to hand out to prospective employers? Keep in mind when listing references that you need to ask the person listed if it is okay to list them! So many times I have been called to give a reference for someone and I am surprised they put me on their list. I can almost always cover up my surprise, but sometimes, I slip up. Having the wrong last name or year they graduated etc. I would never say anything openly negative about a person but oh the things I can say positive if given the time to think a bit! Set aside a time and write out that resume if not today this week. Have someone look at it for you and tweak it if need be. Get some resume paper at the office supply (slightly heavier stock generally unbleached) and keep a few copies with you. Be prepared. You never know what opportunity is waiting around the next corner.
