State Test

In Michigan once you are finished with Beauty School you must take TWO tests at the state level. The first test is practical and the second is on theory. One must pass these two tests in order to get their licence. Repeatedly I hear from past students who did so well in school, but don't go to take these tests! So frustrating! I don't understand why this happens. If anyone out there has completed cosmetology school yet have not gone to their testing please write and tell me what kept you from taking those tests. PLEASE! I SO want to understand.
