The students have really progressed a LOT this week. They have been learning some of the procedures for their state boards exams. In particular the chemical applications. Some of them are getting a real run for the money but I am proud to say they are pushing ahead and trying their best. They are showing constant improvement.
The student teacher is moving forward to the next level after tomorrow. For her last day in the room she is going to teach the whole day! (Lucky Her!) I am eager to find out what she prepares for the class. This day is all of her choosing not a topic I assigned so it should prove to be more fun for her and for the whole room.
The holiday weekend is approaching and they are making plans to miss me. I hope everyone has a super wonderful holiday weekend and get the chance to spend at least a part of it with loved ones.

Why is this blog even here? Good question...
- Ask Ms Ida
- The original idea for this blog was for students (and anyone else) to ask questions they have regarding cosmetology. It seems to have developed into more of a "what's going on in Junior Class" place. Which is okay by me. I actually love my job and my students and I especially love telling about them. I of course am still willing to answer any questions anyone may come up with but in the meantime let me tell you something about what's going on at school.....
