So pleased to report...
Have I ever mentioned how much I love teaching? Well, I really do. Yesterday my students took a test on Skin. Now why the state of Michigan wants them to know all that stuff is often beyond me. BUT they do and therefore I must teach it. I do my best to get the information out in a way that makes it interesting and memorable. I am very proud to report that the average test score was 94%. Last weeks test was on Diseases of the Nail and the entire class did extremely well on that test also. I bought ice cream for everyone after that test so with the scores even higher this time I don't know what to do. Of course doing well and learning is of itself the true reward after all, right? I am so proud and pleased with my class. Good job folks!

wonderful news! congratulations on the success. These moments make teaching very worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteAlso as an update, I am relentless, and decided to have another go with my hair. This time, I opted for Wella Color Charm demi in 3N. I mixed 1:1, instead o f 1:2 hair dye to developer. I left it on the roots for 20 minutes and then distributed it down the rest of the hair.
This worked. My hot roots are covered and the color is uniform. In addition, my hair still looks healthy. I have been doing deep treatments, and I am styling it with Infusium 23, which leaves it very shiny. I will eventually make it to the stylist, but I decided to just go back to what my natural level is for a while to let my hair breathe. I am also thinking that the coloring has been wonky because I just had a baby and the hormones are out of whack still (in addition to operator's malfunction).
Thanks for your help, and I will continue to give you an update because I might just tired of this within several months.
So glad you get successful results! I worried about giving you a color to use wondering how you would get the "roots" on the back areas of your head. You must be very flexable! I like Infusium also. Good product without a huge price. Congrats on the new baby by the way.
