Unemployment rates keep climbing. Today there are fewer people in my family working than laid off. Times are getting difficult. One fact remains though... folks need their hair done. My son needs his cut to look proper for high school. My son-in-law needs his cut to go to a job interview. My daughter needs her hair colored as her new growth is screaming out for the world to see. And what kind of an impression would that be at a job interview? And the list goes on and on. It seems cosmetologists are for the most part secure in their jobs. But, I think we need to start finding ways to cut costs for our customers. Sure that means trimming our budgets a bit to accommodate for the lower amount we will bring. But the rewards will be great on the other side of this recession/depression for our efforts now.
With times so difficult more and more people will be looking to beauty school clinics for hair services. There is no better time than now to enter beauty school. The educational benefits are huge and the job markets for cosmetologists is outstanding. If you ever thought of becoming a cosmetologist and put it off. Don't put your education off any longer. This is the time to take that step. Amazing things are yet to come for those who believe in themselves.
